A
- Areas of 100-yr flood; base flood elevations and flood hazard factors not determined.

AE - Areas of 100-yr flood; base flood evelations have been determined.

AO - Aress of 100-yr shallow flooding where depts are between one (1) and three (3) feet; average depth of inundation are shown, but no flood hazard factors are determined.

AH - Areas of 100-yr shallow flooding where depths are between one (1) and three (3); base flood elevations are shown, but no flood hazard factors are determined.

AR - An are inundated by flooding, for which the BFEs, Base Flood Evelations (or average depths), have been determined. This is an are that was previously, and will again, be protected from the 100-year flood by a Federal flood protection system whose restoration is Fedrally funded and underway.

A1-A30 - Ares of 100-yr flood; base flood elevations and flood hazrd factors determined.

A99 - Areas of 100-yr flood to be protected by flood protection system under construction; base flood elevations and flood hazard factors not determined.

D - Areas of undetermined, but possible, flood hazards.

V - Areas of 100-yr coastal flood with velocity (wave action); base flood evelations and flood hazard factors not determined.

VE - 100-year coastal floodplains that have additional hazards associated with storm waves. BFE's available.

V1-V30
- Areas of 100-yr coastal flood with velocity (wave action); base flood elevations and flood hazard factors determined.

B, C and X - Areas outside the 100-year floodplains, ares of 100-year sheet flow flooding where average depths are less than 1 foot, areas of 100-year stream flooding where the contributing drainage are is less than 1 square mile, or areas protected from the 100-year flood by levees. No BFE's or depths are shown within this zone.
